About Loyd's Aviation and Loyd's Aircraft Maintenance, Inc.

"Bakersfield Jet Center" by Loyd's Aviation is the only full-service Fixed Base Operation (FBO) at Meadows Field in Bakersfield, California. We were founded in 1958 by Byron Loyd and have since built a reputation for the best service in the region as a result of our commitment to safety and service. We are a leader in our industry and are proud to be Bakersfield's oldest, largest, and most respected FBO. In March of 2009 we opened a new front-line facility, Bakersfield Jet Center, which includes a 3.5 acre aircraft parking ramp as well as state-of-the-art customer facilities.

Loyd's Aircraft Maintenance, Inc. was established in 1986 when Byron Loyd and Mark Jensen recognized an immediate need for maintenance services after the closing of Beechcraft West's Bakersfield location. We have twenty-six years of experience in the maintenance business and are proud to be a Cessna and Piper Certified Service Center.
